With my 44 years of living and working in the Vail Valley let me put my experience in the buying of Vail Valley real estate to work for you. There's no substitute for experience and when you call me I'll be the agent you are working with throughout the buying process--not an Assistant Broker or a Broker Associate but me-- Woody Newton-- Broker/Owner of Vail Buyer Brokers.
When buying real estate in the Vail Valley most Buyers have assumed for years that the Broker they are working with has always had their best interests at heart. In reality most Brokers are either agents for the Seller or in fact not working as agents at all but rather (In Colorado) Transaction Brokers who are not advocates or agents for either side in the process but are simply trying to put the deal together. Most potential Vail Valley real estate buyers assume that the largest companies are the best ones to use when buying real estate in the Vail Valley. In reality from a buying standpoint you're much better off buying through a small independent Buyer Broker who does not take listings just so there is no conflict of interest in his representation of the Buyer. With the larger companies with many listings, even if they start off as a Buyer Broker for you, when they start to show you their own listings there is potential for a conflict of interest and they revert back to a Transaction Broker thus leaving you without an agent or advocate. Thats why I started Vail Buyer Brokers--I think it's time Buyers got the representation they deserve throughout the buying process. It helps Buyers to get a better deal and potentially can save them thousands of dollars on their home purchase. Best of all, for almost all types of transactions, it does not cost you- the Buyer- anything to have a Buyer Broker such as me to be your agent, advocate and representative throughout the entire home-buying process. My compensation comes at closing from the proceeds of the sale.
